MobLand (2025) Soundtrack

MobLand (Original Series Soundtrack) accompanies the 2025 British crime drama television series MobLand, created by Ronan Bennett and released on Paramount+. The original score was composed collaboratively by Ilan Eshkeri and Matt Bellamy (frontman of the rock band Muse). Eshkeri is known for emotionally driven scores including The Young Victoria and Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, while Bellamy makes his television scoring debut with a hybrid cinematic and electronic approach that mirrors the series’ gritty crime narrative.

The soundtrack album was released on June 27, 2025 via Lakeshore Records. Titled MobLand (Original Series Soundtrack), the digital release contains 14 original score tracks and runs approximately 30 minutes, available on major platforms including Apple Music and other digital services.

Eshkeri and Bellamy’s score blends modern orchestral writing with electronic textures, modular synths, and string quartet performances to underscore the tension, loyalty struggles and emotional undercurrents of the series’ London crime family storyline. The music shifts between atmospheric tension cues and character-linked motifs, enhancing the narrative’s dramatic arc.

Licensed songs such as the series’ main theme “Starburster” by Fontaines D.C. and featured tracks by The Prodigy appear in the show but are not included on the official score album.
