Warfare film (2025) Soundtrack

Warfare1

Unlike most films, Warfare (2025) does not have a traditional original score or official soundtrack album. Director Alex Garland and co‑director Ray Mendoza chose to forego composed music in favor of immersive sound design, so the movie relies on the raw sounds of combat and environment rather than musical cues.

The only music featured in the film appears in a few diegetic moments, such as the soldiers interacting with songs like Eric Prydz’s “Call on Me” during the opening sequence and “Dancing and Blood” by Low in the closing credits. These selections are the primary musical moments used in the narrative.

Because there is no official score release, the soundtrack for Warfare consists mainly of these licensed tracks and the film’s meticulous soundscape, which together shape its intense atmosphere without a full musical album.
